Section 17: Joint purchase by persons one of whom is liable to pre-emption

Where property is jointly purchased or foreclosed by two or more persons against one of whom only there is a right of pre-emption, such right may be claimed as against all of them. Explanation.--This section does not apply where each such person acquires a defined interest.
