Section Section 7: Punishment for unnatural death of a woman subjected to witch-hunting

Rajasthan Prevention of Witch-Hunting Act 2015State Act of Rajasthan · Act 14 of 2015

Where the death of a woman is caused by any burns or bodily injury or occurs otherwise than under normal circumstances and it is proved that soon before her death she was subjected to witch-hunting, notwithstanding anything contained in section 4, every person who involved in the commission of such witch-hunting shall be punishable with rigorous imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than seven years but which may extend to imprisonment for life or with fine which shall not be less than one lakh rupees or with both.
