Section 151: Duties of maintenance staff

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

Maintenance staff shall perform their functions in the following areas, namely:-

(a) maintenance and repairs of prison buildings;

(b) maintenance and service of machines, tools and equipment and transport;

(c) maintenance and service of electric lines, plumbing facilities, water supply plant and power plant; and

(d) periodical testing of emergency equipment like firefighting equipment and accident prevention measures.
