Section 182: Retention of History Ticket after release or death

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

The History Ticket of every prisoner shall be retained in safe custody,-

(a) in the event of his escape, for three years;

(b) the event of his release, for two years;

(c) in the event of his death, for two years after it occurs; and

(d) in the event of release on bail, for a year or after the result of appeal is known.
