Section 215: Transport of under trial prisoners

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) For transporting under trial prisoners to and from the court and other destinations, necessary arrangements for conveyance shall be made by the police authorities.

(2) If a separate conveyance is not provided for women and adolescent under trial prisoners, the common conveyance must have separate compartments for women and adolescent undertrial prisoners.

(3) Female police escort shall be necessary for transfer of female prisoner from one destination to other and also for production before the court.
