Section 243: Other formalities for release

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

While releasing an under-trial prisoner, the officer in charge shall,-

(a) scrutnise of the release order with relevant original papers and record;

(b) scrutnise whether any other case is pending against the under-trial prisoner;

(c) scrutnise the identity of the under trial prisoner; and

(d) hand over of the cash and property of the under trial prisoner.
