Section 247: Escort of women under-trial prisoner

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) As far as possible, women under trial prisoners shall be handed over to their relatives after release.

(2) If this is not possible, a woman police or woman prison guard shall escort the released woman under trial prisoner to the nearest Railway station or transport bus stand.
