Section 266: Training of staff for gender-sensitivity

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) All staff assigned to work with women prisoners shall receive training relating to the gender specific needs and human rights of women including on sexual misconduct and discrimination.

(2) Such staff shall also be sensitized regarding situations and instances where a woman inmate may feel particularly distressed, so as to be sensitive to their situation and ensure that the women are provided appropriate support.
