Section 348: Forwarding of female prisoner to Mental Hospital

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) A female mentally ill prisoner when transferred from the jail to a mental hospital or from a mental hospital to a jail or forwarded for release to the custody of her relatives or friends, shall invariably be accompanied by a female warder, if there be one attached to the jail or by a respectable female specially entertained for the journey.

(2) A female warder or attendant shall also accompany any recovered female mentally ill prisoner who is sent up for trial.
