Section 380: Applicability of other provisions

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

Save otherwise provided in this chapter and in the Chapter relating to interviews and diet, all other provisions of these applicable to convicted criminal prisoners, shall mutatis mutandis apply to prisoners sentenced to simple imprisonment:

Provided that the following punishment shall not be awarded to such prisoner, namely:-

(a) Change of Labour - Minor Punishment; and

(b) Forfeiture of Remission - Major Punishment.
