Section 399: Arrangement for hours of work

(1) Before the prisoners are locked up for the night the jailor shall, with the assistance of the Head Warder, arrange for the hours of watch for each convict officer noting the hours in the lock-up report-book for the information of all patrolling officers during the night; or the turn of watch for each ward may ordinarily be fixed every week.

(2) The night duties of the convict watchmen shall be as set forth in Chapter XIX.
