Section 468: Authorization to guard to open fire

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) In the event of any riot or violent outbreak, the guards are authorized to fire upon the prisoners.

(2) Disobedience to any jail rules or of any lawful order will subject the offender to punishment according to the rules provided in Chapter XVIII relating to Offence and Punishment.
