The Jailor shall be held responsible for the proper weightments and issue to the cooks of prisoners rations, and for seeing that they are properly cooked and distributed so that every prisoner receives his proper quantity, but subject to such responsibility he may with the permission of the Superintendent, delegate these duties to an Deputy Jailor or any other officer.
