Section 80: Provision for House Rent

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) Every jail officer is entitled to rent free quarters or to house rent in lieu thereof if no quarters are provided and he occupies rented quarters in the vicinity of the jail with the approval of the Superintendent.

(2) Quarters in the jail premises shall ordinarily be provided for the Superintendent or Jailor or Deputy Jailor or Prison Welfare Officer or Clerk-cum-Typist or Teacher or Pharmacist or Stenographer or all technical staff or Accountant or Factory Overseer or fourth grade employees and guarding staff.
