Section 92: Restriction on punishment

The Rajasthan Prisons Rules, 2022State Rules of Rajasthan · 1894

(1) No jail officer shall in any circumstances punish any prisoner except under the Superintendent’s order, or threaten any prisoner with punishment or use violent, abusive or insulting language to any prisoner.

(2) All conduct intended merely to irritate or annoy any prisoner shall be avoided.
