The concession for pasture under Section 29 of the Act shall be subject to the following conditions: -
(i) All plantations and felled coupes shall be closed for the exercise of the concession unit the Forest Officer declares them as open. Normally all felled coupes shall remain closed for period of 10 years from the year following the year of felling:
Provided that not more than one quarter of the area a of any forest block shall remain closed.
(ii) Grass reserves, usually known as Birs, fors and Rundhs, in which the right of pasture has been admitted shall remain closed to grazing from 1st July to 31st October.
