Section 22: Functions of the Academic Council

(1) The Academic Council shall be incharge of the academic affairs of the University and shall subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes and Ordinances made 39(60) jktLFkku jkt&i=] vDVwcj 17] 2012 Hkkx 4 ¼d½ 60 thereunder have control over, and be responsible for the maintenance of standards of instructions, education and examinations and for the requirements for the award of degrees and diplomas.

(2) The Academic Council shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred of imposed upon it by the Statutes and shall advise the Vice-Chancellor on all academic matters.
