(1) The Committee for Research ‘on Disability at the State level shall consist of the following. members, namely :-
(i) An eminent person having vast experience in the field of science: and Medical research to be nominated by the + State Government a = Chairperson;
(ii) Director, Department of” Medical -and- Health, Rajasthan y Co -Member;
(iii) Five members as representatives from persons. with disabilities or registered state level organization representing each of five groups of specified disabilities -- in the schedule of the Act to be nominated by the State Government-~ -Merbers;-
(iv) Director, Special Abled Person, Rajasthan - Member:
Secretary.
@) The Chairperson may invite any expertasa a special i invites,
(3) The term of office of the nominated .members-shall be for a period of three years from the date on which they enter upon office -but the nominated members, shall be eligible for re- nomination for one more term, or @ One- half of the members shall ‘constitute the quorum of the meeting.
+ (5) The non-official members and special i invitees shall be entitled .. for travelling allowance. and dearness allowance as admissible to a Group-‘B’ or equivalent officer of the State Government.
=(6) The State Government may provide the Committee with such . «clerical and other staff as... it deems necessary.
