Section 9: Removal of members

Sanwariaji Temple Board Act, 1992State Act of Rajasthan · Act 8 of 1992

(1) The State Government may remove from office any member, other than the ex-officio members of the Board, on any of the following grounds, namely :-

(a) that he is or has become disqualified for such appointment for any of the reasons specified in sub-section (3) of section 6; or

(b) that he has absented himself from more than four consecutive meetings of the Board without obtaining leave of absence; or

(c) that he has been guilty of corruption or misconduct in the administration of the endowment.

(2) No person shall be removed under this section unless he has been given a reasonable opportunity of showing cause against his removal.
