Section 28: Finance Committee

The Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur Act, 2012State Act of Rajasthan · Act 32 of 2012

(1) The Finance Committee shall consist of the following members, namely:-

(a) the Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the Chairman of the Committee;

(b) the Principal Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan, Finance Department, or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan;

(c) the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan, Home Department, or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan;

(d) the Principal Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan, Higher Education Department, or his nominee not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to the Government of Rajasthan;

(e) the Pro-Vice-Chancellor;

(f) one member of the Board, to be nominated by the Board from amongst its non official members;

(g) two professors, by rotation, to be nominated by the Board; and

(h) the Comptroller, who shall be the Member-Secretary of the Committee.

(2) The term of office of the members nominated under clauses (f) and (g) shall be two years.
