Section 32: Amendment of the motion

Rajasthan State Dental Council Act-2008State Rules of Rajasthan · 1948

(1) An amendment must be relevant to and within the scope of the motion which it is proposed.

(2) An amendment may not be moved which has merely the effect of negative vote.

(3) The President may refuse to put an amendment which is in his opinion frivolous.

(4) A motion may be amended by-

(a) The omission, insertion or addition of words, or

(b) The substitution of words for any of the original words.
