(1) The Registrar shall perform such duties as have been given in the Act and the Rules. He shall also be responsible for the safety of the property of the Council and the control and management of the office. accounts and correspondence, and shall see that the office staff attend punctually, and generally fulfill all such duties as may be required of him by the Council for the purposes of the Act. He shall attend and take notes of the proceedings of meetings of the Council and Executive Committee and any other Committee.
(2) The Registrar shall not less than 90 days before the expiration of the term of any existing appointment draw the attention of the President to the approaching vacancy for directions regarding filling of such vacancy.
(3) The Registrar shall be the ex-officio Secretary of the Executive Committee and any other Committee set up by the Council. He shall participate in the discussions but shall not function as a member of the committees whether by way of voting or otherwise.
