Section 30: Honorarium

The Corporation may grant to its employees honorarium as payment for work performed which is occasional in character and either so laborious or of such special merit as to justify such a reward. Grant of honorarium is not justified to an employee merely because there is a temporary increase in his work. The reasons for the grant of honorarium are always to be recorded in the sanction.

MISCELLANEOUS SECTION-IX

31. Training :

(i) Persons recruited direct or promoted to any post shall undergo such training and refresher course as may be prescribed from time to time.

(ii) Every employee deputed for training at the expenses of the corporation shall be liable to execute a bond to serve the Corporation after the completion of such training for a minimum period to be specified therein, failing which he shall be liable to refund to the Corporation the cost of training and the emoluments received by him during the period of training.

Provided that, the Board may, at its discretion, remit any unexpired portion of the bond in the event of the resignation from service by the employee or the termination of his service or his compulsory retirement or removal or dismissal from service by the Corporation or for any other reason before the expiry of the period of that bond.

32. Transfer :

(i) An employee shall be liable to be posted in any of the units of the Corporation.

Provided that in case of transfer of an employee from one place to another, the post to which he is transferred is not lower than the one held by him immediately prior to such transfer.

(ii) The Managing Director shall be the competent authority to order the transfer of an employee from one unit to another or between the head office and a unit.
