Section 9: Reservations of vacancies for Backward Classes, Special Backward Classes and Economically Backward Classes

9. Reservation of vacancies for Backward Classes, Special Backward Classes, and Economically Backward Classes.- Reservation of vacancies for Backward Classes, Special Backward Classes, and Economically Backward Classes shall be in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Rajasthan Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Special Backward Classes and Economically Backward Classes (Reservation of Seats in Educational Institutions in the State and of Appointments and Posts in Services under the State) Act,2008 at the time of direct recruitment. In the event of non-availability of eligible and suitable candidates amongst Backward Classes, Special Backward Classes, and Economically Backward Classes in a particular year the vacancies so reserved for them shall be filled in accordance with the normal procedure.
