(1) The Governor shall be the Chancellor of the University. He shall, by virtue of his office, be the Head of the University and shall when present, preside at the convocations thereof. (2) Every proposal for the conferment of any honorary degree shall be subject to the confirmation by the Chancellor. (3) It shall be the duty of the Vice-Chancellor to furnish such information or records relating to the administration of the affairs of the University, as the Chancellor may call for. (4) The Chancellor shall have such other power as may be conferred on him by this Act or the Statutes or the Ordinances made thereunder.
