Section 2: Definitions

Terms and Conditions of Service of the Chairman and Member Secretary Rules, 2021State Rules of Rajasthan · 1974

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-

(a) “Act” means the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (Central Act 6 of 1947.);

(b) “Board” means the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board constituted under the Act;

(c) “Government” means the Government of Rajasthan; and

(d) “Chairman” means the Chairman of the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board;

(e) “Member Secretary” means the Member Secretary of the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board.
