Section 54: Service of notice, documents and orders

The Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2012State Act of Rajasthan · Act 21 of 2012

(1) For the purposes of this Act a notice, document or order shall be deemed to be served-

(a) on any individual by -

(i) delivering it to the person personally; or

(ii) leaving it at, or sending it by post to, the address of the place of residence or business of the person last known;

(b) on a body corporate by leaving it at, or sending it by post to, the registered office of the body corporate.

(2) For the purposes of this Act, when the procedure laid down by sub-section

(1) is followed, service shall be deemed to be effected by properly addressing, preparing and posting the document, notice or order, as the case may be.
