Section 29: The Deans

The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Act, 2010State Act of Rajasthan · Act 13 of 2010

(1) Each constituent college shall have a Dean, who shall be a wholetime salaried officer of the University, appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Statutes.

(2) Each Faculty shall have a Dean of Faculty as its Chairperson, who shall be designated out of all the Deans of that Faculty on the basis of seniority.

(3) The University may also appoint a Dean of Post-Graduate Studies, and other such Deans, as may be prescribed by the Statutes.

(4) The Dean shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
