Section 31: Veterinary and Animal Sciences Education

The Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Act, 2010State Act of Rajasthan · Act 13 of 2010

(1) Subject to provisions of this Act, education in the University shall include Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degree programmes and short-term diploma or certificate courses in the disciplines of veterinary and animal sciences and allied sciences as prescribed.

(2) The educational programmes would maintain congruence with the State and national policies.

(3) The University shall put in place initiatives for e-learning, distributed or distance education, Information and Communication Technology-enabled knowledge sharing etc..

(4) Programmes of veterinary and animal sciences education should aim at producing competent and skilled professionals.

(5) The University shall put in place initiatives for continuing veterinary education and training programmes for veterinarians and Para-veterinarians. Training and certificate courses shall also be available for rural educated youth, farmers, farm women and animal owners of weaker sections of the society.
