The Vice- Chancellor, the Registrar, the Comptroller, the Deans, the Director of Research, the Director of Clinics, the Director of Extension Education and other Directors as specified by the Statutes and other employees of the University shall be deemed, to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act No. 45 of 1860).
