, 3:150. The Rajasthan Urban Improvement Trust (General) Rules, 1962 The Rajasthan Urban Improvement Trust (General) Rules, 1962 [Notification No. F, 4 (82) LSG/A/59 dated 2.4.1962, published in the Rajasthan Gazette, Part IV-C, Extraordinary dated 8.6.1%62).

in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 74 of the Rajasthan Urban Improvement Act, 1959 (Rajasthan Act 35 of 1959), the State Government hereby makes the following Rules, namely— = 3 RULES

1. Short title and commencement—(1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Urban Improvement Trust (General) Rules, 1962,

(2) These rules shall come into force upon their publication in the official Gazette. _ ee .

(2) “Trust” means.a Trust asconstituted. under the Act,

‘[() TheDraftMasterPian prepared by the Officer or the Authority appointed under section.3 ‘oftheRajasthan Urban Improvement Act, 1959, shall bepublished by him by making acopy thereof available for inspection at the office of the Trust concerned and publishing a notice in the form ‘A’ in the Official Gazette and in atleast two popular daily newspaper having circulation in the area inviting suggestions and objections from every person with respect to the Draft Master Plan within a period of 2[20] days from the date of the publication of the said notice. [Ifthe officer of authority appointed under section 3 of the saicl Act is satisfied that response to the Draft Master Plan has been inadequate, this period may be extended further fora Maximum period of 30 days for enabling more persons to file their objections/ suggestions with respect to the draft of the Master Plan).

(2) The notice referred to in sub-rule (1) together with a copy of the Draft Master Plan shall be serit by the Officer or the Authority to each of the Local Body operating in the area included in the Master Plan. -

(3) The Draft Master Plan shall ordinarily consist of the following maps, plans and documents, namely—

(a) Town Map showingGeneral Layout of the roads and streets in the Town,

(b) Base Map showing the Generalised existing land use pattern, such as residential, commercial, Industrial, Public and Semi-Public uses etc.

(c) Draft Master Plan showing broadly the proposed land use pattern inthe Urbanarea such asresidential, commercial, Industrial, Public and Semi- Public uses etc. Pa

(d) Written analysis and writtan statement to. support the proposals.

{e) Any other maps, plans ormatter which the oficer or the Authority deem fit or as the State Governmentt may direct:the officer or the Authority in this regard.}

4.Approval of.Masterplan by the State Government under-section 6- Way After considering the objections,suggestions and representations _ which may be received by!the Officeror theAuthority appointed underSection 3 to prepare the Master Plan, the Officer orthe Authority shallin consultation with the Advisory Council appoirited yindér Section3of ihe. (2) When. a Master Pian has.been approved by the StateGovernment it shall publish in the Official Gazette, anoth 6in. Form ‘B’ stating that the _ Master Plan has been approved and acopy thereo! wouldbe availablein the ‘office of the Trust/Municipality,concerned which may be inspected during office hours on. any working day.

1((3)] Appointment of staff under section 25—The power of appointingand granting leave to officers and servantsofthe Trust and censuring, reducing, suspending or dismissing them for misconduct, shall be vested in the case of officers and servants drawing monthly salary of 9{As. 750/-] or less in the chairman, and ir the other cases in the Trust.
