(a) All cash in the departmental cash chest of the Trust shall be kept in strong iron chest under double lock arrangement. All the keys of both the locks shall not be kept in one person's custody, and the keys of one lock shall be kept apart from the key of the other lock and always in different person's custody (e.g. key of one lock in the possession of the Head of Office and that of the other lock with the cashier). The chest shall never be opened unless both the custodians of the keys are present.
(b) Duplicate set of keys of both the locks shall be deposited with the Treasury.
