Section 2: Definitions

(1) In these rules, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,-

(i) "Act" means the Rajasthan Urban Improvement Act, 1959 (Act No. 35 of 1959);

(ii) "Form" means Form appended to these rules;

(iii) "Section" means a section of the Act;

(iv) "Trust" means a Trust constituted under the Act; and

(v) "Zonal Development Plan" means a plan prepared and approved under these rules.

(2) Words and expressions used but not defmed in these rules shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Act.
