The Ravi and Beas Waters Tribunal Ordinance, 1986.Ordinance · 1986

(1) This Ordinance may be ctilled the Ravi and Beas Waters Tribunal Ordinance, 1986.

(2) It extends to the States of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.

(3) It shall come into force at once.

2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires,—

(a) "Punjab Settlement" Ipieans the Memorandum of Settlement on the Punjab problem signed at New Delhi on the 24th day of July, 1985;

(b) "Tribunal" means the Ra\Ti and Beas Waters Tribunal constituted under section 3.
