Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the recruitment regulations for the post of Assistant Public Health Inspector in North, South and East Delhi Municipal Corporations, 2014 notified vide No. F.4(l)/RR/LB/2013/3870-75 dated Delhi, the 14th August 2014. namely: — 1, j 1 Short title and commencement.-( l) These regulations may be called Recruitment Regulations for the post of Assistant Public Health Inspector in North, South and East Delhi Municipal Corporations (Amendment), 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Delhi Gazette.
2. In the Recruitment Regulations for the post of Assistant Public Health Inspector in North, South and East Delhi Municipal Corporations, 2014. in rule 2 for the words "Pay Band and" Grade pay/scale of Pay", the words "Level in Pay Matrix" shall be substituted.
3. (a) In the Schedule annexed to the said Regulations, in column 4 for column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following columns heading and entries shall be substituted, namely :- Level in Pay Matrix Level 4 (Rs 25500-81100).
(b) In column 11. for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted namely.- "Promotion from the grade in Level-1 of Pay Matrix (Rs.l 8000-56900) with eleven years of regular service in Public Health Cadre having, Sanitary Inspector Diploma from recognized Institute".

3TTC. t f t . a fa lT , 3TqT fc^STcS, ¥£||4)%l faciei URBAN DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT N O T I F I C A T I O N Delhi, the 14th August, 2014 No.F.4(l)/RR/LB/2013/3870-75.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 98, 480 and 484A (Hi) of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 and in supersession of the Regulations notified vide notification No. 9/9/83-LSG dated the 28th April, 1983 for the post'of Assistant JPublic Health Inspector ̂ except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Lt. Governor of National Ca^itai-Territory of Delhi is pleased to make the following regulations relating to the post of Assistant Public Health Inspector in North, South and East Delhi Municipal Corporations, namely:- I. Short title and commencement.-(l) These Regulations may be called the Recruitment Regulations for the post of Assistant Public Health Inspector in North, South and East Delhi Municipal Corporations, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in" the Delhi Gazette.
2. Number of post, classification, pay band and Grade pay/Scale of Pay: - The number of the said post, its classification, pay band and Grade pay/ Scale of pay attached thereto shall be as specified in columns 2 to 4 of the Schedule annexed to these regulations.
3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications etc. - The method of recruitment to the said post, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto, shall be as specified in columns 5 to 13 of the said Schedule.

4. Disqualification. - No person, -
(a) Who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) Who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to any of the said posts:
Provided that the Municipal Corporations of Delhi after prior consultation of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi may if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personnel law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing except any person from the operation of this regulation.
•5. Power to relax: - Where the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing relax any of the provisions of these regulation with'respect .

6. Saving. - Nothing in these regulations shall affect reservations, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for candidates of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons, in accordance with the orders issued by central Government from time to.
