No. K-14011/48/89-UD-II (UT), dated the 27 th March, 2001, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 1, dated the 27 th March, 2001, issued under clause (a) of sub-section (I) of section 32 of the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978 (33 of 1978), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government has added the metro alignment in respect of the metropolitan city of Delhi as specified in the said notification, to the schedule of the said Act;
Whereas, by notification number S.O. 2625(E), dated the 16 th October, 2009, the provisions of the said Act have been extended to the areas of National Capital Region;
Whereas, the Central Government vide its notification number S.O. 1302(E), dated the 7th June, 2012 has further added the metro alignment in respect of metropolitan city of Delhi and the National Capital Region to the Schedule of the said Act;
And whereas, the Central Government vide its notification number S.O. 198(E), dated 16 th January, 2015 has substituted the metro alignment in respect of metropolitan city of Delhi and the National Capital Region specified in the Schedule of the said Act;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 32 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby adds the following metro alignment of Delhi Metro Line-9 - Dwarka-Najafgarh extension from Najafgarh to Dhansa Bus Stand in respect of the National Capital Region, to the Schedule of the said Act, namely:- �द ली मे�ो लाइन-9 नजफगढ़ से ढांसा बस � टै� ड तक िव� तार ‘’.
