Section 3: Regulations to be in addition to and supplement the Statutes and Ordinances

The recognition of institutions of higher learning within India for the purpose of the Act, and to withdraw such recognition, shall primarily be regulated by the provisions contained in clause (c) of the article 2 of the Second Schedule annexed to the Statutes of the Regional Centre for Biotechnology, 2017 and ordinance 19 of the Ordinances of the Regional Centre for Biotechnology, 2017, and these regulations shall be in addition to and consistent with the provisions of the said Statutes and Ordinances so as to clarify and supplement them.
