Section 5: Amendment of Section-28 of the Registration Act, 1908 (Act 16, 1908)

In Section-28 of the Registration Act, 1908 the following proviso shall be added as follows: -- “Provided that such documents may also be presented in the office of the sub-registrar of the district headquarters whose office has been amalgamated with the office of Registrar under Section-7 and within whose district the whole of the property to which such document relates is situate irrespective of its being situated in one or more sub-districts of the district.”

6. Amendment of Section-30 of the Registration Act, 1908 (Act 16, 1908).-– “Bracket along with figure “(1)” of Section-30 of Registration Act, 1908 shall be deleted.” By order of the Governor of Bihar, BINOD KUMAR SINHA, Secretary to the Government.
