Section 218: Reservists Leaving India

Regulations for the Army, (Revised Edition) 1987Central Regulations · 1888

Reservists are not permitted to leave India except with the previous written permission of their OsC. No such permission will, however, be required in case of Gorkha reservists from Nepal who wish to return to that country.

Failure to return to India in time will render them liable to trial by court-martial.
