Section 105: Record of suspension, etc. of sentence

91) The suspension of a sentence in whole or in part shall be recorded with full particulars of the offence and sentence on the promotion and Conduct Record Sheet

(2) Notations shall be made as follows in the “Time forfeited” column on page 4 of the Service Certificate, each notation being authenticated by the Commanding Officer’s signature, with the date on which the sentence was either suspended, remitted or enforced: -

(a) Suspension of sentence Put “suspended” alongside the before committal notation of the number of days awarded.

(b) Suspension of sentence Insert in the appropriate column after committal the number of days served, adding “Residue Suspended”.

(c) Remission of suspended Rule through the notation “Suspended” or Residue suspended and insert notation “Remitted” or Residue remitted.

(e) Committal or re-committal Rule through the notation following suspension of “Suspended” or “Residue sentence or of residue of suspended” and insert notation sentence. “Committed” or “Recommitted” as requisite.

(3) Care shall be taken that the original notation which is ruled through is not obliterated.
