Section 139: When charged before a Magistrate

Under sub-section (1) of section 41 of the code of Criminal procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) a person may be arrested without a warrant on suspicion of being a deserter from the Indian Navy and when he is so arrested, the police officer arresting him shall produce him before a Magistrate .
