Section 206: Evidence when to be taken on oath or affirmation

(1) Evidence shall be recorded on oath or affirmation when a Board is assembled-
(a) on a prisoner of war, or
(b) in any other case when so directed by the convening authority.
(2) In such cases the Board shall administer an oath or affirmation to witness in the following form:- “I……………………do swear in the name of God/ solemnly affirm that the evidence which I shall give before this board shall be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.”
