Section 57: General rules for cell punishment

Regulations for the Navy Part IICentral Regulations · 1957

(1) Every sailor sentenced to cells shall be deprived of any Good Conduct Medal or Badges he may hold and such punishment shall carry with it forfeiture of time and pay for the period of the confinement.

(2) A sentence of cells shall not be postponed or suspended.

(3) A sentence of cells may, at the discretion of the senior officer present, be carried out in a ship or naval establishment other than that in which it was awarded.
