Section 20

The Rules of Business of the Government of Pondicherry, 1963Central Rules · 1963

(1) When the subject of a case concerns more than one Department, no order shall be issued (nor shall the case be laid before the Council) until it has been considered by all the Departments concerned, unless the case is one of extreme urgency.

(2) If the Departments concerned are not in agreement regarding such a case, the Minister-in-charged of any of the Departments may, if he wishes to proceed with the case, direct that the case be submitted to the Chief Minister for orders or for laying the case before the Council.
