Section 2: Definitions

(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, —

(a) "Act" means the Odisha Lokayukta Act, 2014 (Odisha Act 12 of 2018);

(b) "member" means a member of the Search Committee;

(c) "Search Committee" means the Search Committee constituted by the Selection Committee under sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Act;

(d) "Selection Committee" means the Selection Committee specified in sub-section

(1) of section 4 of the Act.

(2) All other words and expressions used in these rules but not specifically defined shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the same meaning as respectively 2 assigned to them in the Act.
