Fथा.-01/2016-17/111/एन एम सी जी (खंड-III)] राजीव �कशोर, काय�कारी िनदेशक ()शासन) रा_ Hीय F वf छ गंगा िमशन ORDER New Delhi, the 7th March, 2018 S.O. 1014(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1), (2) and (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection), Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), read with the paragraph 53 of the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S. O. 3187(E), dated the 7th October, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes an authority to be called as the District Ganga Protection Committee for District Purba Bardhaman of the State of West Bengal, comprising of the following members, namely:- (C) Ex-officio Members:
(i) District Magistrate, Purba Bardhaman - Chairperson;
(ii) Executive Engineer-I, Public Works Department, Bardhaman Division - Member;
(iii) Executive Engineer, Irrigation, Bardhaman Division - Member;
(iv) Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering, Bardhaman Division - Member;
(v) Environmental Engineer, Pollution Control Board, Durgapur - Member;
(vi) Divisional Forest Officer, Bardhaman Division - Member and Convenor; (D) Nominated Members:
(i) District Planner, Purba Bardhaman - Member;
(ii) Chairman, Kalna Municipality - Member;
(iii) Chairman, Katwa Municipality - Member;
