).— —— —के��ीय सरकार, पया�वरण (संर�ण) अिधिनयम, 1986 (1986 का 29) क� धारा 3 क� उपधारा (3) �ारा �द� शि�य का �योग करते $ए और भारत सरकार के त(कालीन पया�वरण और वन मं*ालय क� अिधसूचना सं.यांक का.आ. 1533(अ), तारीख 14 िसतंबर, 2006 (िजसे इसम3 इसके प4ात् उ� राजप* अिधसूचना कहा गया ह)ै के अनुसरण म3 संघ रा:य�े* ;तरीय पया�वरण समाघात िनधा�रण �ािधकरण, दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य �े* (िजसे इसम3 इसके प4ात् दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य �े* �ािधकरण कहा गया ह)ै ग<ठत करती ह,ै िजसम3 िन>िलिखत तीन सद;य ह गे, अथा�त् :—

4. �ािधकरण, दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य�े* इस अिधसूचना के पैरा 5 के अधीन दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य�े* के िलए ग<ठत रा:य ;तरीय िवशेषP मू�यांकन सिमितय क� िसफा<रश के आधार पर िविन4य करेगा ।
5. के��ीय सरकार, �ािधकरण, दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य�े* को सहायता के �योजन के िलए दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य�े* �शासन के परामश� से संघ रा:य�े* िवशेषP मू�यांकन सिमित, दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य�े* ग<ठत करती ह ै(िजसे इस अिधसूचना म3 इसके प4ात् दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य�े* िवशेषP मू�यांकन सिमित कहा गया ह)ै िजसम3 िन>िलिखत सद;य ह गे, अथा�त् :--
6. यूटीईएसी, दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य�े* के अMय� और सद;य राजप* म3 इस अिधसूचना के �काशन क� तारीख से तीन वष� क� अविध के िलए पद धारण कर3गे ।

8. यूटीईएसी, दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य�े* सामूिहक उ�रदािय(व के िसaांत पर काय� करेगा और अMय� �(येक मामले म3 सव�सbमित पर प$चंने का �यास करेगा और य�द सव�सbमित पर नहc प$चंा जा सकता ह ैतो ब$मत का मत अिभभावी होगा ।
9. दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य�े*, �शासन, �ािधकरण और यूटीईएसी, दमन, दीव, दादरा और नागर हवेली संघ रा:य�े* के सिचवालय के dप म3 काय� करने को �कसी अिभकरण को अिधसूिचत करेगा और उ� सिचवालय यूटीईएसी �ािधकरण को सभी िव�ीय और संभार तं* समथ�न, िजसके अंतग�त आवास, प<रवहन ह ैऔर इसके सभी कानूनी कृ(य के संबंध म3 ऐसी अ�य सुिवधाएं उपलeध कराएगा ।

उप वन संर�क (व�यजीव), दादरा और नागर हवेली, िसलवासा सिचव ¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 11th May, 2017 S.O. 1514(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O. 1533(E), dated the 14 th September, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the said Gazette notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes the Union Territory Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (UTEIAA), Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli (hereinafter referred to as the Authority, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli) comprising of the following three Members, namely:—
1. Shri Sujit Shyamchoudhary, Indian Forest Service (Retired), Flat G09.2, NBCC, VIBGYOR Towers, New Town, Rajarhat, Kolkata - 700 156.

2. Prof. EDA Udaya Bhaskar Reddi , Department of Environmental Sciences, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam - 530 003.

3. Conservator of Forests, Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman.

2. The Chairman and Members of the Authority, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli shall hold office for a term of three years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
3. The Authority, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli shall exercise such powers and follow such procedures as enumerated in the said Gazette notification dated 14 th September, 2006.
4. The Authority, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli shall base its decision on the recommendations of the State level Expert Appraisal Committees (SEACs) constituted under paragraph 5 of this notification for the Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
5. To assist the Authority, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, the Central Government in consultation with the State Government of Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, hereby constitutes the Union Territory Expert Appraisal Committee, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli (hereinafter in this notification referred to as UTEAC, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli) comprising of the following Members, namely:-
1. Dr. (Mrs.) Vaishali J. Nashikkar, Flat No. 604, Plot No. 2, Baba Heritage, Sector- 44A, Nerul (West), Navi Mumbai – 400 706, Maharashtra.

6. The Chairman and Members of the UTEAC, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli shall hold office for a term of three years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
7. The UTEAC, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli shall exercise such powers and follow such procedures as enumerated in the said Gazette notification dated 14 th September, 2006.
8. The UTEAC, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli shall function on the principle of collective responsibility and the Chairman shall endeavor to reach a consensus in each case, and if consensus cannot be reached, the view of the majority shall prevail.

9. The Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli Administration shall notify an agency to act as Secretariat for the Authority and the UTEAC, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and the said Secretariat shall provide all financial and logistic support including accommodation, transportation and such other facilities in respect of all its statutory functions of the Authority and UTEAC.
10. The sitting fees, travelling allowances and dearness allowances to the Chairman and Member of the Authority, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and the Chairman and Members of the UTEAC, Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli shall be paid as per rules of the Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
