Hीिनवासन आचाय� और अJय�, रासायिनक इंजीिनयKरंग िवभाग, पुडूचेरी इंजीिनयKरंग कालेज, पुडूचेरी – 605014 अJय�; 2. डॉ. टी. गणसेन सह आचाय� और अJय�, वनAपित िवMान िवभाग, के.एम. स7टर फार पी.जी. 8. डॉ. किवतावासुदवेन पी. सह आचाय�, समुदाय िच�क/सा िवभाग, इं�दरा गांधी मेिडकल कालेज एंड Qरसच� इंिAटZूट, वाजहावुर रोड, केQठका�मम, पांिडचेरी – 605009 सदAय; 9. @येc वैMािनक अिधकारी, िवMान, $ौdोिगक� और पया�वरण िवभाग, पुडूचेरी सरकार । सिचव । ¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 6. रा@य Aतर िवशेषM अंकन सिमित, पुडूचेरी के अJय� और सदAय इस आदशे के राजप1 म7 $काशन क� तारीख से तीन वष� क� अविध के िलए पद धारण कर7गे । 7. रा@य Aतर िवशेषM अंकन सिमित, पुडूचेरी ऐसी शि(य) का $योग करेगी और ऐसी $�Sयाe का पालन करेगी जो उ( अिधसूचना म7 िविनTद�U ट हV । 8. रा@य Aतर िवशेषM अंकन सिमित, पुडूचेरी सामिूहक उ%रदािय/व के िसfांत पर काम करेगी और अJय� $/येक मामले म7 सव�स_ मित पर प,चंने का $यास करेगा और य�द सव�स_ मित पर नहg प,चंा जा सकता है तो ब,मत का मत अिभभावी होगा । 9. पुडूचेरी रा@य सरकार, $ािधकरण पुडूचेरी और रा@य Aतर िवशेषM अंकन सिमित, पुडूचेरी के िलए सिचवालय के hप म7 काय� करने के िलए �कसी अिभकरण को अिधसूिचत कर7गी और सभी िव%ीय और संभार तं1 संबंधी सहायता, िजसके अंतग�त वास-सुिवधा, पQरवहन और उनके सभी कानूनी कृ/य) क� बाबत अ>य सुिवधाएं भी हV, उपलiध कराएगी । 10. $ािधकरण, पुडूचेरी के अJय� और सदAय) तथा रा@य Aतर िवशेषM अंकन सिमित, पुडूचेरी के अJय� और सदAय) क� बैठक क� फ�स, या1ा भ%ा और मंहगाई भ%ा पुडूचेरी रा@य सरकार के िनयम) के अनुसार संद% �कया जाएगा । [फा.स. ज-े11013/51/2007-आई.ए.II(I)] अरिव>द नौQटयाल, संयु( सिचव MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE ORDER New Delhi, the 7th June, 2019 S.O. 1924(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O. 1533(E), dated the 14 th September, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Puducherry (hereinafter referred to as the Authority, Puducherry) comprising of the following Members, namely: -
(1) Dr. G. Srinivasan Professor and Head, Department of Chemical Engineering, Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry – 605014.
- Chairman;
(2) Dr. T. Ganesan Associate Professor and Head, Department of Botany, K.
M. Centre for P.G. Studies, Puducherry – 605008.
- Member;
(3) Director, Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Government of Puducherry.
- Member-Secretary.
2. The Chairman and Members of the Authority, Puducherry shall hold office for a term of three years from the date of publication of this order in the Official Gazette.
3. The Authority, Puducherry shall exercise such powers and follow such procedures as specified in the said notification.
4. The Authority, Puducherry shallbase its decision onthe recommendations of the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Puducherry constituted under paragraph 5 of this order.
5. For the purposes of assisting the Authority,Puducherry, the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Puducherry, hereby constitutes the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Puducherrycomprising of the following Members, namely :-
(1) Dr. B. Kumaran Associate Professor and Principal, Indira Gandhi College of Arts and Science, Kadirkaman, Puducherry – 605009.

6. The Chairman and Members of the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Puducherry shall hold office for a term of three years from the date of publication of this order in the Official Gazette.
7. The State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Puducherry shall exercise such powers and follow such procedures as specified in the said notification.
8. The State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Puducherry shall function on the principle of collective responsibility and the Chairman shall endeavor to reach a consensus in each case, and if consensus cannot be reached, the views of the majority shall prevail.
9. The Government of Puducherry shall notify an agency to act as the Secretariat for the Authority, Puducherry and the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Puducherry and shall provide all financial and logistic support including accommodation, transportation and such other facilities in respect of all their statutory functions.
10. The sitting fee, travelling allowance and dearness allowance to the Chairman and Members of the Authority, Puducherry and the Chairman and Members of the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Puducherry shall be paid in accordance with the relevant rules of the Government of Puducherry.
