2. तिमलनाडु �ािधकरण का अBय� और गैर-शासक�य सद�य राजप& म( इस अिधसचूना के �काशन क� तारीख से तीन वष� क� अविध के िलए पद धारण करेगा ।
3. तिमलनाडु �ािधकरण, ऐसी शि�य का �योग करेगा और ऐसी ��:या का अनुपालन करेगा जो इस अिधसूचना म( यथा िविनHदI ट हJ ।

9. तिमलनाडु रा,य सरकार, �ािधकरण, तिमलनाडु और रा.� त.िव.मू.स. के िलए सिचवालय के fप म( काय� करने को �कसी अिभकरण, रा.� त.िव.मू.स को अिधसूिचत करेगी और सभी िव�ीय और संभार तं& समथ�न िजसके अंतग�त �थान, पLरवहन और इसके सभी कानूनी कृ$य के संबंध म( ऐसी अ य सुिवधाए ंभी हJ, उपलDध कराएगी ।
10. तिमलनाडु �ािधकरण के अBय� और सद�य तथा रा.� त.िव.मू.स तिमलनाडु के अBय� और सद�य को बैठक के िलए फ�स, या&ा भ�ा और महगंाई भ�ा तिमलनाडु रा,य सरकार के िव[मान िनयम के अनुसरण म( संदये ह गे । [फा. सं.जे.11013/97/2007-आईए.II(I)] मनोज कुमार gसह, संयु� सिचव MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 12th August, 2015 S.O. 2199(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests number S.O. 1533(E), dated the 14 th September, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Tamil Nadu (hereinafter referred to as the Authority for Tamil Nadu) comprising of the following Members, namely:—
(a) Dr. S. Kalyana Sundaram, IFS (Retired), No. 11, 2 nd Cross Street, G-3, Sree Apartments, United Indian Colony, Kodambakkam, Chennai -
600024.

2. The Chairman and non-official Member of the Authority for Tamil Nadu shall hold office for a term of three years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
3. The Authority for Tamil Nadu shall exercise such powers and follow the procedures as specified in the said notification.

4. The Authority for Tamil Nadu shall base its decision on the recommendations of the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee constituted under paragraph 5 for the State of Tamil Nadu.
5. For the purposes of assisting the Authority for Tamil Nadu, the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Tamil Nadu, hereby constitutes the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Tamil Nadu (hereinafter referred to as SEAC for Tamil Nadu) comprising of the following Members, namely:—

6. The Chairman and Members of State Level Expert Appraisal Committee for Tamil Nadu shall hold office for a term of three years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
7. The State Level Expert Appraisal Committee for Tamil Nadu shall exercise the powers and follow the procedures as specified in the said notification.
8. The State Level Expert Appraisal Committee for Tamil Nadu shall function on the principle of collective responsibility and the Chairman shall endeavor to reach a consensus in each case, and if consensus cannot be reached, the view of the majority shall prevail.
9. The Government of Tamil Nadu shall notify an agency to act as Secretariat for the Authority for Tamil Nadu and State Level Expert Appraisal Committee for Tamil Nadu and shall provide all financial and logistic support including accommodation, transportation and such other facilities in respect of all its statutory functions.
10. The sitting fee, travelling allowance and dearness allowance to the Chairman and Members of the Authority for Tamil Nadu and the Chairman and Members of State Level Expert Appraisal Committee for Tamil Nadu shall be paid in accordance with the concerned rules of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
