O. 3187(E), dated the 7th October, 2016, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section III, Sub-section (ii) (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes an authority to be called the State Ganga Rejuvenation, Protection and Management Committee for the State of Chhattisgarh (hereinafter referred to as the State Ganga Committee for Chhattisgarh), comprising of the following members, namely:—
(a) Chief Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh Chairperson, Ex-officio;
(b) Principal Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Chhattisgarh Member, Ex-officio;

Fथा.-01/2016-17/111/एनएमसीजी(खंड-III)] राजीव �कशोर, काय/कारी िनदशेक (%शासन) राZ aीय F वb छ गंगा िमशन ORDER New Delhi, the 18th December, 2017 S.O. 3900(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), read with the paragraph 20 of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation number S. O. 3187(E), dated the 7 th October, 2016, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes an authority to be called the State Ganga Rejuvenation, Protection and Management Committee for the State of Rajasthan (hereinafter referred to as the State Ganga Committee for Rajasthan), comprising of the following members, namely:-
(a) Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, Chairperson, Ex-officio;
(b) Principal Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of State of Rajasthan Member, Ex-officio;
(c) Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing, Government of State of Rajasthan Member-Convener;
(d) Principal Secretary, Environment and Forest, Government of State of Rajasthan Member, Ex-officio;
(e) Principal Secretary, Water Resources, Government of State of Rajasthan Member, Ex-officio;
(f) Principal Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, Government of State of Rajasthan Member, Ex-officio;
(g) Chairman, Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Government of State of Rajasthan Member - Convener;

(h) Chief Engineer, State Water Resources Planning Department, Government of Rajasthan Member, Ex-officio

(j) Shri S. K. Gupta, Retired Chief Engineer Water Resources Department, Government of Rajasthan Member;
(k) Shri Bhupendra Mathur, Chief Engineer, Local Self Government Department, Government of Rajasthan Member;
(l) Dr. V. K. Singhal, Chief Environmental Engineer, Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Jaipur Member.
2. The Nominated Members shall hold office for a term of two years from the date of publication of this Order.
3. The State Ganga Committee for Rajasthan shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as stated in the said notification.
4. Travelling Allowance, Daily Allowance and sitting fees of the nominated members shall be governed by the rules of the State Government.
5. The State Ganga Committee for Rajasthan may decide the procedure and frequency for holding the meetings as per the said notification.
